Serie A giants Milan are now set to part ways with Chelsea’s Joao Felix, who will return to London in the summer.
The Portuguese had started his stint in Milan with a goal on his debut but things have become negative since, as he has struggled to make an impact.
Daniele Longo has reported that as of now, Milan have two options to extend the deal with Chelsea. The first one can see them pay between €41 million and €45 million this summer. The second one can see them extent the loan and have an obligation to buy Joao Felix permanently for around €30 million in the summer of 2026.
But the Rossoneri have decided that they will not sign him again in the summer, even if they’re yet to appoint a new sporting director. The move had happened because of Jorge Mendes, who also represents manager Sergio Conceicao. But now, the feeling is that both of them will leave in the summer and Mendes’ influence will reduce.
