Milan make offer for Strasbourg’s Gela Doue amidst Sunderland and Chelsea interest | OneFootball

Serie A giants Milan have come forward formally for Strasbourg star Gela Doue and have made an offer for the right-back.

The defender is Gela Doue’s brother and has also attracted interest from both Chelsea and Sunderland. Luca Bianchin has reported that Milan have put forward €15 million in their offer.

In June, Strasbourg asked for €20 million. Milan’s offer is lower than the demand but a deal is still very much possible.

Chelsea do seem quite keen on signing the Ivorian but Milan are making decisive moves early to make sure that the Blues do not overtake them. There is also interest from not just Sunderland but from Eintracht Frankfurt as well but Milan are the only club to make a formal offer and Strasbourg can issue a response in the next few days.

The Rossoneri want to use Doue as an alternative to Alex Jimenez, who was spoken of positively by Max Allegri yesterday.
