Milan and Fiorentina options for Lazio legend Immobile after Besiktas spell | OneFootball

Milan and Fiorentina are among the clubs vying to sign former Lazio legend Ciro Immobile from Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas this summer according to Saturday’s reports in Italy.

Immobile, now 35, has two years remaining on his current contract in Istanbul, but recent reports claim that he is no longer in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans, and that he could be allowed to leave approaching the summer transfer window.

That is despite netting 15 goals in 30 appearances in the Turkish top flight after joining on a free transfer from Lazio last summer.

Milan and Fiorentina eye Immobile deal

Immobile, who ranks eighth in the all-time Serie A top goalscorers list with 201 to his name, is of interest to both Fiorentina and Milan this summer according to Saturday’s reports from Corriere dello Sport.

Corriere claims that Fiorentina have a number of options in their pursuit of a back-up option to Italy international Moise Kean, also including fellow Serie A veteran Edin Dzeko, who has also spent the past two seasons in Istanbul, albeit with Fenerbahce.

Much depends on Fiorentina’s negotiations with Dzeko, but Saturday’s reports claim that Immobile is still under consideration at Viola Park.

Corriere dello Sport claims that Immobile’s agent, Marco Sommella, has also been at Casa Milan in recent days, and that the Rossoneri could be inclined to offer a deal for the 57-time Italy international.
