Issoufou Dayo could be on his way out of RS Berkane after ten years of loyal and distinguished service. The Burkinabè defender has caught the eye of Al-Ettifaq, a club competing in the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Ettifaq is not letting go of Issoufou Dayo. Having already shown interest in the centre-back last winter, the Saudi club has decided to make another move to secure his signature. According to multiple sources, the Dammam-based club is ready to make a significant effort to land the 33-year-old defender during this summer transfer window.
A two-year contract awaits the Stallion (77 caps, 8 goals), unless he decides to continue his adventure with the Moroccan club. Meanwhile, the team coached by Mouine Chaabani is seriously considering extending the contract of their key player.
The native of Bobo-Dioulasso has made 315 appearances for the Oranges, scoring 49 goals and providing 10 assists. He has played a pivotal role in the club’s triumphs, including the 2025 league title as well as three CAF Confederation Cups in 2020, 2022, and 2025.
