Mbeumo Joins Man United: "My Dream Club, I Grew Up Wearing Ronaldo’s Shirt"
Manchester United’s latest signing, Bryan Mbeumo has described the move as the fulfilment of childhood dream , one inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo himself.
After 7 week of negotiations, the 25 year old Cameroonian forward officially signed from Brentford for 65 million sterling pound with additional £6 million in add ons. Mbeumo's committed to contract until 2030 with option for 1 more season.
Speaking to ManUtd.com Mbeumo said:
"From the start, I wanted to join this historic club. Now that it's done, I'm over the moon”
He added:
"For me Man United's the biggest club in the world and in England too. The fans, the stadium ... everything's special”
Mbeumo also shared personal memory:
"The 1st shirt I wore as kid was United one with Ronaldo on the back. I’ve always admired Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar and Hazard"
The Cameroon international arrives at Old Trafford after impressive 20 goal season with Brentford in the PL.
