As one would expect, Kylian Mbappé is off to a flying start for Real Madrid in 2025/26.
The Frenchman scored the club's first goal of the season on Matchday 1 before making it two goals from two games on Sunday against Real Oviedo.
Mbappé received the ball while facing backwards from Arda Guler's pass and swiftly turned before slotting home into the far bottom left corner.
He then pulled off a wild 'wipe those tears' celebration afterward.
With Vinicius Junior on the bench, Mbappé is taking his opportunity to shine and show his opponents they'd better beware.
Sunday's strike means the former Paris Saint-Germain man is the top scorer in Europe's top five leagues across all competitions since 2024/25 (46 goals).
Last season in LaLiga, he scored 31 goals in 34 games for Los Blancos. Will he better that tally this time around?
