According to Matt Law of The Telegraph, Chelsea are working on signing a new striker who is like Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League on Wednesday night after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.
The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.
Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!
The transfer window is now open and as expected, Chelsea are going to be one of the busiest clubs in the market this summer, especially because they want to get some deals done prior to the Club World Cup starting on June the 16th.
They have to be quick as well because the transfer window is only open until June the 10th for clubs to get deals done before the CWC, it then shuts for a few days and opens again on June the 16th.

Matt Law has been speaking on the London is Blue Podcast today and he speaks a bit on new strikers.
He says:
“Chelsea like Hugo Ekitike and a lot of people in Football who are hopeful and are thinking he may have a similar development path as Alexander Isak.”
And on current striker Nicolas Jackson, Law states:
“Jackson leaving is certainly possible.”
