Matheus Cunha's squad number at Manchester United has been confirmed, with the new signing to wear the famous No.10 shirt.
The number had been worn by Marcus Rashford since 2018, but the England international is set to finally depart Old Trafford on a permanent basis this summer.
Widespread reports have said that Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia have all informed the club of their wish to leave. The five players will report to pre-season later, with the hope the extra time will allow them to finalise moves elsewhere.
Cunha is the first of what is expected to be several new signings at United as Ruben Amorim looks to rebuild a squad that slumped to a Premier League era-low 15th place last season.
The Brazilian wore the number while with Wolves, and will look to emulate former United greats such as Ruud van Nistelrooy, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney, who made the shirt famous.
