Fabrizio Romano reports that Marseille are now in advanced talks to sign Timothy Weah from Juventus.
Ligue 1 side Marseille have moved forward in negotiations to sign USMN international Weah from Juventus.
Fabrizio Romano reports on X, formerly Twitter, that Weah has agreed to personal terms with Marseille, so the French club is now negotiating the winger’s transfer fee with Juventus.

Weah snubbed a move to Nottingham Forest in June and was frozen out of the Juventus squad in the second part of the Club World Cup.
Weah, 25, has just completed his second season in Turin, where he scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 78 appearances across all competitions.

Weah’s agent was unhappy that the Bianconeri had tried to force a move to Nottingham Forest last month, reiterating that his client would decide his own fate.
Juventus are also discussing Samuel Mbangula’s exit with Werder Bremen. The Belgian also rejected a move to Nottingham Forest in June.

“Weah is a fantastic player and a fantastic teammate. To see people acting like this for money and because they are selfish disappointed me a lot. This is a shame,” Weah’s representative Badou Sambague said in June.
“Anyway, until I’m here, nobody will push one of the players I advise to go on the right or on the left like a marionette. I am happy that Timo has a top education and a top personality to stay focused on the game.”
