Mario Hermoso is looking to make his first debut for Roma this coming Sunday as the Giallorossi prepare to face Genoa.

The former Atletico Madrid defender surprised everyone during the physical and athletic tests, demonstrating that he is in excellent shape despite his late arrival in the closed transfer market.

Even though he was unable to participate in the pre-season training camp, Hermoso seems ready to play, especially in a three-man defense, a solution that De Rossi has been working on for several weeks.

Hermoso can be deployed immediately, writes Corriere dello Sport, either in the center of the defensive trio or on the left, a role he often played with Atletico.

In this second option, N’Dicka would move to the center, while Mancini would complete the defensive trio.
