Accompanied by the Director of the Coaching School, Renzo Ulivieri, the Secretary of the Technical Sector, Paolo Piani, and instructors Mario Beretta, Ferretto Ferretti, and Antonio Gagliardi, the aspiring coaches will spend two days immersed in the daily work of the London club, led by Enzo Maresca, the FIGC said.
On Tuesday, Maresca presented his training methodologies, allowing the participants to observe a pitch-side session before giving a lecture on defensive tactics.
Today, the program continues with another live training session in the morning and afternoon lessons led by Chelsea’s coaching staff.
This training camp marks the second stage of the UEFA Pro course this season, following a recent visit to Cesc Fabregas’ Como.
The Master UEFA Pro Course for the 2024-25 campaign started in September 2024 and aspiring coaches include ex-Napoli star Marek Hamsik and former Inter, Roma and Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov.
