Referee Marco Di Bello will be in charge of his first Serie A match involving Inter Milan since December of 2023.
As FCInterNews highlight, the last time that Di Bello refereed an Inter match, the Nerazzurri beat Udinese 4-0. Inter have never lost in fourteen matches that he has taken charge of.
Inter Milan take on Cagliari in Serie A this coming weekend. They host the Rossoblu at the San Siro on Saturday evening.
For Inter, three points will be all but necessary to stave off Napoli in the Serie A title race.
Particularly after last weekend’s draw with Parma. Inter will be desperate to bounce back and return to winning ways after squandering a 2-0 advantage in Emilia-Romagna.
Meanwhile, Cagliari will be aiming for a shock result that would be a huge boost for their Serie A survival.

As FCIN highlight, the experienced official has had the whistle for fourteen matches involving Inter over the years.
And the Nerazzurri have prevailed on ten of these occasions. The other four have been draws.
And the most recent match with Di Bello as the referee could be a positive precedent for Inter.
The Nerazzurrui beat Udinese 4-0 in Serie A in December of 2023, on their march to the title.
That match is now sixteen months ago.
