Barcelona, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly eyeing Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. In a boost for these clubs, contract extension talks between the Georgian winger and Napoli appear to have stalled, but there’s a new suitor in this race.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG and Barcelona are ramping up their pursuit, increasing the pressure on Napoli to secure an agreement before next summer.

Journalist Graeme Bailey recently told Rousing the Kop that Liverpool are monitoring Kvaratskhelia as part of its strategy for preparing for Mohamed Salah’s potential departure.

“When you’ve got the likes of possibly Kvaratskhelia on the market, let’s not forget that Liverpool have just brought in the second best Georgian player,” Bailey said. “Liverpool are all over Kvaratskhelia, they know about the situation, there might be a chance of getting him next summer.”

Manchester United are reportedly gearing up to make a “serious” offer to persuade Kvaratskhelia to leave Napoli for Old Trafford. Reports suggest the club is prepared to present an impressive salary package to the Georgian’s camp.

Sportmediaset reports (h/t TEAMtalk) that Manchester United are prepared to outspend Napoli and make a bold move to bring the 40-cap Georgian winger to Old Trafford.

Per the report, sporting director Dan Ashworth is prepared to offer Kvaratskhelia a five-year contract worth €8 million net per season. This amounts to £128,500 a week after tax, totaling £33.4 million over the course of the deal.

The outlet also suggests that Amorim, focused on adding an “outside striker” to suit his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation, views the player as a perfect fit. Manchester United are reportedly serious about completing the transfer in 2025.
