With reported interest in Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes increasing ahead of the summer window, the club have taken a hardline stance on any potential exit.
This week, there have been several suggestions that in addition to Saudi Arabian big spenders Al-Hilal, Real Madrid have also been keeping tabs on the midfielder's impressive form.
However, a Daily Mail follow-up from the outlet's local correspondent has insisted that the club are unwilling to entertain any offers for Fernandes.
Despite claims that representatives of the Portugal international met with Saudi officials on Monday, a concrete bid has not been submitted and no matter what that prospective amount may be, United have no interest in selling.
Although it has been a season of dismal disappointment (even accounting for a potential Europa League win), Fernandes has been a true shining light amid the issues at Old Trafford.
He has contributed 19 goals and 18 assists across all competitions, despite his side languishing in 15th place in the Premier League.
