In a recent report, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Manchester United are in talks to sign Royal Antwerp keeper Senne Lammens this summer. It is understood that the Red Devils are locked in negotiations with the Belgian club over a potential deal for the talented goalie in this transfer window.
The 23-year-old had a solid campaign at Royal Antwerp recently as he put in a run of impressive displays for them in the Jupiler Pro League. Lammens made 44 appearances for his current employers last season, conceding 56 goals and earning ten clean sheets on all fronts.
The Belgian talent has proven his worth as one of the best keepers in the Jupiler Pro League last season. Hence, it is no wonder that the Red Devils are eyeing a move to bring him to Old Trafford this summer.
Lammens‘ current deal at Antwerp will run out in 2027. Therefore, Man United would have to make a convincing offer if they want to recruit him in this transfer period.

Lammens can be a safe pair of hands in goal when he is playing with confidence on the pitch. He is a good handler of the ball and can use his quick reflexes to make some important saves at the back.
Standing at 1.93m, Lammens is a commanding presence inside his half but can be a bit vulnerable in the air when coming out to collect crosses and loose balls. Furthermore, there are some concerns over whether he would be able to cope with the high intensity of the Premier League if Man United manage to recruit him this summer.
We can expect Lammens to enhance the quality of Ruben Amorim’s backline in the long run. He is good enough to challenge for regular first-team football at Old Trafford this season.
