Puma are set to collaborate with a New York streetwear brand to create a fifth and sixth Manchester City kit for the ongoing 2024/25 season, according to new leaks.

The latest reports of upcoming Manchester City kits come after, for the first time in the club’s history, Puma and other decision makers opted to release a range of four match-used shirts for the ongoing campaign.

The club’s home kit consisted of a traditional sky blue and white edition, whilst their away strip paid homage to the historic 1999 play-off final win over Gillingham with a neon yellow and black-striped jersey.

Maroon was then utilised in Manchester City’s hugely popular third kit, whilst the anniversary of the iconic ‘Definitely Maybe’ album from music giants Oasis was used as inspiration for a special edition fourth kit part-designed by Noel Gallagher.

And with Manchester City travelling to the United States next summer, following the conclusion of the normal season in England and across Europe, a decision has seemingly been taken to introduce further in-game wear for the FIFA Club World Cup.

That is according to the information of Opaleak on X, who claim that Puma will collaborate with Brooklyn, New York-based streetwear clothing brand, KidSuper Studios to launch special edition Manchester City kits for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

It is explained that Puma and KidSuper Studios will release two kits for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup for Pep Guardiola’s side, both of which will feature ‘novel colours’ that are different from the club’s traditional colours.

Reports from earlier on in the year showcased the popularity of Manchester City’s latest releases, with the new 2024/25 fourth ‘Definitely Maybe’ shirt recording the highest day-one sales for a kit launched by the club ever.

Furthermore, launch day of that same shirt also saw the highest day of City sales revenue ever, only topped by the launch of the commemorative treble-winning shirt in 2023, with the fourth kit alone making up 71 per cent of the revenue on launch day.

Manchester City’s 1999-inspired away kit launch also saw the club’s highest ever sales figures and revenue for an away shirt in its history, with the new kit ranking third highest on ‘day one sales’ of all shirt releases.
