Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly eyeing a move for highly-rated Everton and England youth international goalkeeper Douglas Lukjanciks.

It is the latest move from the ever-ambitious Etihad Stadium side, as they continuously seek to cement their future as best as possible through the recruitment of the game’s very best talents from all corners of the globe.

Manchester City’s position within the City Football Group also enables themselves to develop rising talents at a number of sides across the European game, with some teams operating at various levels of difficulty and demands.

It is detailed that the England under-17 stopper has been chased by ‘several’ clubs, but it is the reigning Premier League champions who are keen to land him this summer in a deal that would also ‘help Everton keep their FFP numbers right’.

Having sold a number of goalkeeping talents into the EFL over recent seasons, it is claimed that Manchester City are now looking for a new name to develop to the very top, and there could even be an exchange deal with City sending a young home grown player to Everton.
