Manchester City goalkeeper Scott Carson was reportedly ejected from the club’s Premier League title celebrations after an incident with a fellow attendee.

The 38-year-old joined Pep Guardiola’s squad at a luxury city centre location on Sunday night, as Manchester City celebrated an historic fourth consecutive Premier League title with a major first-team party at Greek restaurant FENIX.

Manchester City players and staff celebrated until the early hours of Monday morning, after a 3-1 victory over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium secured a sixth title in seven years for the Sky Blues.

The Cityzens beat Arsenal to the Premier League title by two points, as a first-half brace from Phil Foden and a second-half strike from Rodri helped clinch Manchester City’s eighth Premier League title.

Foden smashed Manchester City into a second minute lead with a sublime strike, prior to doubling the Blues’ advantage in the 18th minute with a clinical shot, following a superb string of passes.

Rodri restored the two-goal lead in the 59th minute with an effort from outside the area, with West Ham having halved the deficit prior to half-time, after a wonderfully acrobatic strike by Mohammed Kudus in the box.

Manchester City players lifted the Premier League trophy at the Etihad Stadium post-match, and will parade it alongside the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup next Sunday around the city centre, irrespective of the result of Saturday’s FA Cup Final clash with Manchester United.

The first-team squad and staff will be set for more celebrations, however one City star was reportedly ‘ejected’ from this weekend’s event after ‘trying to fight a fellow partygoer’ at around 4am.

SplashNews and the Mail Sport claim that goalkeeper Scott Carson was removed from Sunday’s title-winning celebrations by venue security, with the reserve shot-stopper having been at the Etihad Stadium since 2019.

Carson has made two first-team appearances for Manchester City, and is out of contract at the club at the end of the campaign, but the Englishman could have his deal renewed by Etihad officials.

The goalkeeper hasn’t featured since 2022, when he played in the Blues’ UEFA Champions League game against Sporting Lisbon.
