Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui is a fitness doubt for the club's midweek clash with Ipswich Town after limping off against Everton on Saturday, according to a report.
Mazraoui was replaced by Leny Yoro in the 70th minute of United's final trip to Goodison Park while the visitors trailed 2-0. A late rally, inspired by goals from Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte, ensured that United salvaged a 2-2 draw, but Ruben Amorim may have lost one of his most trusted assets.
No player has made more appearances during the Portuguese head coach's rocky tenure than Mazraoui, featuring in all but one of Amorim's 22 matches at the helm. The Morocco international may very well miss United's next outing against Ipswich on Wednesday after sustaining a knee injury, according to ESPN.
Further tests will be carried out on the 27-year-old who complained of discomfort midway through the second half of Saturday's entertaining stalemate with Everton.
During Amorim's brief reign, Mazraoui has lined up on both sides of the back-three as well as the left and right wing-back roles, demonstrating a level of versatility which has been crucial to combat the torrent of injuries littered throughout United's squad.

Amorim was without eight first-team players for this weekend's trip to Merseyside, including the defensive trio of Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw. While Martinez has been ruled out for the rest of the season, the other two absentees are not expected back until March at the earliest.
Midfielders Mason Mount and Toby Collyer could also be available next month, yet Kobbie Mainoo faces a longer road to recovery.
Mazraoui's absence will be keenly felt by Amorim, who has hailed the former Ajax and Bayern Munich defender as "the future" of Manchester United. "He's a top player," the Portuguese coach gushed in December.
"He understands the game. He knows how to attack, he's very technical, he's very good defensively and he's very good one-on-one. He's a modern player."
Amorim added: "When you think about him, you think we need more players like Nous." The club's main goal will be getting the original Mazraoui back fit as quickly as possible.
