Man Utd Plot Big-Ticket No. 9 Signing With Two Early Targets Linked to PSG | OneFootball

Manchester United have two early targets that are also reportedly linked to Paris Saint-Germain as the two sides will likely look to boost the No. 9 positions this summer transfer window.

According to GIVE ME SPORT, Manchester United have made Victor Osimhen a top target and might activate his €75 million release clause this summer. Turkish journalist Yagız Sabuncuoglu also recently reported that Manchester United and PSG have officially reached out.

Meanwhile, CaughtOffside recently reported that Arsenal plan to hold talks over a potential move for Dusan Vlahovic, who could be available this summer.

The Red Devils are also on alert as they weigh options to strengthen their attack, per the report. Furthermore, the same outlet has revealed that PSG have held talks with Juventus over the Serbian.

On Sunday, GIVE ME SPORT reported that Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is looking to sign at least one midfielder, with a goalscorer being the top priority.

Among the early options are Osimhen, Liam Delap, Samu Aghehowa, and the £315,000-a-week Vlahovic, who has been labeled “world-class.”

Chelsea, like PSG, showed interest in Osimhen last summer but couldn’t seal a deal. However, talkSPORT’s Jermaine Pennant recently encouraged the Blues to revisit the opportunity when the summer window opens in a few months.

“He knows how to score,” Pennant said this week on talkSPORT. “Like I said, his numbers are frightening. They were great at Napoli. We see how often [Nicolas] Jackson gets chances, but his conversion rate isn’t great.

“He can have three or four clear-cut chances and miss them all, leaving you scratching your head, wondering how Chelsea ended up with a draw or a loss. Someone like Osimhen, if he finds a goal, will only boost Chelsea or any team.”
