Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on Hugo Ekitiké’s potential move to Eintracht Frankfurt, with a 20 percent sell-on clause giving them a chance to pocket a decent profit if the deal goes through.

Newcastle are still interested in Ekitiké as a possible successor to Alexander Isak. They’ve followed him since his time in Paris, and according to CaughtOffside, another Premier League club has also entered the race for the 22-year-old.

Manchester United are also said to be in the mix. Football Insider reports that the club has been monitoring Ekitiké’s progress in Frankfurt while searching for a new No. 9 ahead of the summer.

According to BILD, Manchester City’s incoming sporting director, Hugo Viana, has started talks with Ékitiké as the club looks to get ahead of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United in the race to sign the French forward.

Last Friday, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Ekitiké is set to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer. Plans for his next move are already taking shape, with several top clubs expressing interest.

A few of the Premier League’s biggest teams have been in touch with both Eintracht and Ekitiké’s representatives. For now, though, the forward remains focused on helping the club secure a Champions League spot before making any decisions about his future.
