Manchester City midfielder Nico González is in training ahead of the Champions League knockout round play-off first leg with Real Madrid on Tuesday according to multiple sources.
The Spanish midfielder signed from Porto on deadline day, but suffered an apparent back injury just 22 minutes into his debut at Leyton Orient, forcing him to come off.
However, he is taking part in today's session ahead of the huge clash with the Champions League holders at the Etihad Stadium.
Given the 23-year-old was signed to help fill the gap left by Rodri's season-ending knee injury, it is a huge boost for Pep Guardiola, and the former Barcelona player is likely to start.
