Man City Esports is delighted to announce the signing of EA FC Pro Player Gustavo 'Guga' Ferraz.
The 16-year-old is one of the most exciting young pros entering the scene and will immediately represent the Club at the Esports World Cup Last Chance Qualifier before looking to gain further top-level competitive experience for the FC26 season.
Guga is the youngest FC player to sign for Man City Esports, following in the footsteps of Kieran ‘Kez’ Brown, Shaun ‘Shellzz’ Springette, Ryan Pessoa, Donovan ‘Tekkz’ Hunt, Matias Bonanno and Ander ‘Neat’ Tobal.
Guga will wear the number 11 shirt during his time with City as he looks to develop his skills in Manchester.
“I’m so happy to join Manchester City, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world in football and in FC,” said Ferraz after putting pen to paper on his contract.
“I’m also really excited for my first-ever LAN competition [eSports World Cup LCQ] and I hope I can make the Finals.
“It’s a privilege to join such a strong roster and I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of the team.
“With Zezinho [City FC coach] being Brazilian as well, he’s helped me settle in. I hope to learn a lot from him, the players and other City coaches.”
Everyone at Manchester City is delighted to welcome Guga to the Club and we wish him the very best of luck competing.
