Manchester City have not included Manuel Akanji or Ilkay Gundogan in their squad to face Tottenham Hotspur.
Pep Guardiola’s side take on Spurs in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime. Neither Akanji or Gundogan will feature at the Etihad, with the duo excluded from the squad amid exit talks.
Akanji has been subject of an approach from Galatasaray, with the Turkish Süper Lig side having held talks with City over a potential deal. An offer in the region of €15m (£13m) has been proposed for the Switzerland centre-back.
Gundogan is also an option to leave. City have strengthened their midfield options with the signing of Tijjani Reijnders this summer, who shone on debut at Wolves last weekend. Gundogan could be allowed to depart with the 34-year-old having attracted interest from Turkey, Germany and Major League Soccer.
Another player who has been linked with an exit, Ederson, is in the squad. The Brazil international has been named as a substitute with James Trafford retaining his place in goal.
Galatasaray are also interested in signing Ederson and Manchester City will move for PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as a replacement, if a deal is agreed.
