Mads Bidstrup moves to Salzburg

22-year-old Dane signs five-year contract

We are delighted to be able to announce the signing of a promising midfield talent. 22-year-old Dane Mads Bidstrup is joining us from English Premier League side Brentford and has signed a contract until 30 June 2028.

After making 14 appearances for the London club, Bidstrup went on loan most recently to FC Nordsjaelland. He made a total of 47 appearances last season as the club finished runners-up in Denmark.

Mads has an incredible mentality and suits our playing style in Salzburg perfectly with his way of playing. He is very versatile too and can be used anywhere in midfield. Mads has played in a few different countries already, and already has quite a bit of experience. He will do our team a lot of good as a person and a player.
