Lorenzo Pellegrini’s entourage deny contact with West Ham | OneFootball

Serie A side Roma have seen midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini get linked with a move to West Ham.

Corriere dello Sport have constantly made it a point to report about the Hammers and the midfielder, who is not seen as an important player by Roma due to his injury worries, performances, wages and his contract situation.

LaRoma24 report today that Pellegrini will return to Roma training on Monday and is keen on making a mark under Gian Piero Gasperini.

His entourage has now denied any talks with West Ham, making it clear that the player wants to stay at the Giallorossi and has no intention of leaving.

The report says January can be a key month for the 29-year-old, who can assess his options at that point after trying to become a part of Gasperini’s side from next week onwards.

His exit can help Roma make financial wiggle room and those wages are not expected to be a major problem for West Ham, if they still come forward for the Italian.
