Ademola Lookman wants to leave Atalanta with the winger prioritising a move to the Premier League.
Lookman is keen to leave Atalanta after three impressive campaigns with the Italian side. The Nigeria international has scored 52 goals in 117 games for Atalanta, including 20 in all competitions last season.
In 2023/24, he netted a hat-trick in the club’s Europa League final win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Despite interest from across Europe, Lookman has set his sights on a return to the Premier League.
The London-born forward is prioritising a Premier League transfer, according to transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
West Ham United have shortlisted Lookman as a potential replacement for Mohammed Kudus, amid talks of a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur. The Hammers have rejected an opening offer of £50m from Spurs for Kudus but are open to his sale.
A return to London is attractive to Lookman, despite rival interest from Atletico Madrid. However, any deal would be dependent on the sale of Kudus with West Ham requiring sales before signing players this summer.
Atalanta value the 27-year-old at €60m (£51m), a transfer that would swallow the bulk of West Ham’s budget even after Kudus’s sale. Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa have previously been linked.
