Michael Olakigbe scored in Chesterfield's 4-1 win over Morecambe, with that victory leaving the Spireites one point off the play-off spots heading into the final game of the League Two season on Saturday.

The Brentford winger netted the third goal for Paul Cook's side, who know they need to better Salford City and Grimsby Town's results this coming weekend.

Chesterfield face Accrington Stanley away, with their divisional rivals taking on Carlisle United and AFC Wimbledon - who sit sixth and could also drop out of the top seven - respectively.

Olakigbe has made 12 starts for the promotion hopefuls this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Ashley Hay was also on the scoresheet in the fourth tier over the weekend, netting in Cheltenham Town's 3-2 win over Carlisle, which officially relegated Mark Hughes' side. Val Adedokun was not in the Robins squad.

Cheltenham could secure a top-half finish if they beat Bromley on the final day of the campaign.

Tony Yogane came on as a second-half substitute as Exeter City beat Huddersfield Town 3-1 in League One on Saturday. Ryan Trevitt missed the game with an injury.

Like Cheltenham in the divison below, Exeter have the opportunity to finish in the top half if they can get three points against Mansfield Town at the weekend.

Preston North End lost 2-1 to relegation rivals Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, with Jayden Meghoma on the bench for the Championship clash.

Paul Heckingbottom's side are one of six teams who could be relegated on Saturday, but they know a win against play-off hopefuls Bristol City will make them safe.

Myles Peart-Harris will be unavailable for Swansea City's final Championship game of the season due to injury; Matt Cox is also still out for Crawley Town, who face an almost impossible task to remain in League One.

Ben Winterbottom played 90 minutes for already relegated Fylde, as they lost 3-2 to Tamworth in the National League.

Mads Roerslev was not in the squad for Wolfsburg's Bundesliga defeat to Freiburg, while Frank Onyeka started for Augsburg in their 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen.

In Scotland, Ellery Balcombe was in goal as Motherwell beat bottom-placed St Johnstone 3-2 on Saturday, which leaves them seven points ahead of the relegation play-offs with just four games to play.
