Arne Slot’s side look on course for domestic success and now turn attentions to the Champions League.

Liverpool beat Newcastle 2-0 last time out to move 13 points clear in the Premier League table and while Slot will not be getting carried away, the title looks all-but sewn up now.

With that in mind, Wednesday’s trip to Paris Saint-Germain takes on added importance. Given how strong Liverpool have been in Europe this season, even an exit at this stage of the competition to a team as strong as PSG would have be to considered a disappointment.

Having said all that, here’s a look at the latest Liverpool injuries…

Conor Bradley

Though Trent Alexander-Arnold is clearly Liverpool’s first-choice right-back, having an understudy as good as Conor Bradley is one of the major strengths of Slot’s squad.

However, the Northern Ireland is set to miss at least the first leg of the PSG game, with Bradley forced off injured against Aston Villa last month.

Speaking before the Newcastle game, Slot said: “Conor Bradley isn't ok.

“He is out for a few weeks. It is clear that he went off with a muscle injury and it will take a while before he is back.”

Joe Gomez

Joe Gomez has endured a frustrating time of things on the injury front this season. The defender suffered a hamstring injury at West Ham in December and briefly returned for Liverpool’s shock FA Cup defeat to Plymouth.

“He is going to be out for a number of weeks because of a hamstring injury,” he said.

"It's a big blow for Joe and for us. He tries everything to be with the team. He works really hard to come back and then first game when he came back, after two or three minutes we saw him making a sprint and now he is out for weeks again.”
