Liverpool are set to keep hold of their defender after agreeing to sign a contract extension.
At a time of change, there are a lot of things happening at Anfield. It would be great in years to come to see a documentary of just what has been going on behind the scenes at the club this summer.

Richard Hughes has clearly been hard at work to deliver a genius masterstroke of a summer window.
Who would have thought Florian Wirtz was just the icing before the cherry on the cake? Now, it's looking more and more likely that Liverpool are going to sign Alexander Isak.
If that deal gets completed, signing Wirtz and Isak in the same window. On top of potentially getting Marc Guehi as well as Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong, would be a phenomenal summer for the Reds.
Obviously, there is still a lot at play and it's important to note key players have left the club like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz.
The defence looks especially weak in terms of depth. Pre-season highlighted that with Arne Slot having to use quite a few makeshift options.
But it was also to the benefit of one young defender in Luca Stephenson, who really caught the eye. While he's predominantly a full-back, Stephenson even played as a centre-back in pre-season and never looked out of place.
The 21-year-old looks to have won Arne Slot over, but he knows fighting himself into this Liverpool super team is going to be very hard.
With just one year left on his contract, after the summer he has had it would be disappointing to lose Stephenson. Which is why it's great news that The Athletic are now reporting that he's set to sign a new deal.
Stephenson has agreed to extend his contract with the club and the report claims that he will be going out on loan to Dundee United, where he had a successful loan spell last season.
The Scottish side are expected to do well again this season, and they are still in with a chance of competing in Europe. They are currently playing in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, where they drew 2-2 with Rapid Wien in their first leg away from home in Austria.
If they can secure a win at home, Dundee could face Hungarian side Gyori ETO or Swedish side AIK in the Play off round in order to secure qualification to the league phase.
That means there is a great opportunity there for Dundee to make it to the final phase of the competition and the chance to play in Europe would be an excellent one for Stephenson as well.
