Those in the Liverpool fanbase circles will have a deep-rooted hatred for the Spanish football legend that is Sergio Ramos, who was known for his devious tactics and lack of discipline on the pitch.
In case you aren't aware, the centre-back created a storm in the 2018 Champions League final between Real Madrid and the Reds, because of a challenge he made on Mohamed Salah.
The pair were involved in a tussle, but Ramos had the Egyptian's arm locked and as Ramos fell, he purposefully landed on Salah's arm, dislocating his shoulder and breaking Liverpool fans' hearts - or at least, that's how the incident is remembered on Merseyside. An intentional piece of sh*thousery.
Ever since, the Spaniard's name has created deep controversy and it is imperative that a Liverpool player either takes the same stance as the fans or keeps their opinions firmly to themselves.
Speaking to the media during his announcement as a Real Madrid player, Huijsen gave his view.
He said: "Sergio Ramos sent me a message the day I was official. He is my idol, I think he is the greatest centre-back in football." The exact words that would've created anguish in Liverpool.
