League One promotion chasers Leyton Orient host Man City in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday afternoon.
Orient progressed into the last 32 of the prestigious competition by knocking out Derby County viaa penalty shootout in the previous.
New signing Randell Williams isn’t available for selection as he is cup-tied following his transfer from Bolton Wanderers. Dan Agyei, Jack Simpson and Ollie O’Neill are all likely to be unavailable. Swansea loanee Azeem Abdulai, who scored a hat-trick in his second appearance for the club, is also cup-tied.
Pep Guardiola will be demanding a response from his players after they were on the wrong end of 5-1 battering to Arsenal last weekend.
Deadline day signing Nico Gonzalez is ready to make his debut for the club after a lucrative move from FC Porto. There should also be sizeable minutes for other January transfers Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.
Guardiola remained coy over the availability of Jeremy Doku, Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias who have been injured in recent weeks. The trio have reportedly participated in the last few training sessions, alongside goalkeeper Ederson.
Leyton Orient: DLWWL
Leyton Orient sit just inside of the League One playoff places on goal difference. Their rapid rise up the table is partly down to their impressive defensive record. Orient have kept 14 clean sheets this season including a run in December where they didn’t concede for over 800 minutes in all competitions.
Tottenham loanees Jamie Donley and Josh Keeley have exceeded in the third tier with the latter catching the eye in this competition. Goalkeeper Keeley netted a 99th minute equaliser in the second round against Oldham. Orient went on to win that game in the 121st minute after more stoppage time drama.
Their narrow loss to Stockport County last weekend put an end to their 11-game unbeaten run.
Richie Wellens’ side haven’t reached the fifth round of the FA Cup since the 2010/11 season. They were eliminated by the most successful team in the competition’s history, Arsenal.
Manchester City: WLWWL
Man City were dealt a damaging blow last weekend as they fell to a 5-1 trouncing to Arsenal. Erling Haaland equalised just after the interval, but a second-half collapse saw their net breached on four occasions.
It was the reigning Premier League champion’s heaviest away defeat since they lost 8-1 to Middlesbrough in 2008. The damming result allowed Chelsea to displace Pep Guardiola’s team in fourth position in the league.
City will understandably be distracted by the crucial Champions League tie in midweek. On Tuesday, they welcome Europe’s most successful club Real Madrid to the Etihad Stadium for the first leg of their playoff tie.
Due to those circumstances, Guardiola is expected to heavily rotate for their trip to the capital.

It has been almost 60 years since the two sides last met when they competed against each other in the old Division Two. The game ended all square at Brisbane Road with both teams netting two apiece.
The outcome of their respective seasons couldn’t have been more different. Orient ended up being relegated after finishing bottom of the table while City were promoted as champions.

Darren Bond will be the match official. Scott Ledger and Sian Massey-Ellis will assist him while Dean Whitestone will be the fourth official. VAR will not be in operation.
