Leicester set to include 16y.o. compared to Nwaneri on bench

Leicester do not have a plethora of suitable or even acceptable forward-thinking players to choose from. Meanwhile the Foxes are renowned for brining in some satisfactory stars through their youth setup. And, now and then, City produce exceptional young professionals via the Leicester City Football Club Academy. Examples there would be Harvey Barnes (although chronically injury-prone), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (though currently misused) and Ben Chilwell (may well be on the way up again).

The Blue Army, LCFC's fan base, have suffered in a tough and uncompromising season so far. However, when Ruud van Nistelrooy took over at the helm there was hope that he'd bring through and develop some City starlets. Hints of this have since emerged with precocious 15-year-old talent Jeremy Monga among the substitutes now and again. Van Nistelrooy has history in advancing stars' early careers: Ismael Saibariff, Cody Gakpo, Xavi Simons, Jarrod Branthwaite, Johan Bakayoko and Noni Madueke amongst them.

The east Midlands side are also said to be on the precipice of deploying a separate and similarly rated prospect. This up-and-coming footballer is just one year the elder of Monga at the grand old age of 16. But, if a 16-year-old can help the team - you'll have no protest from me. Just look at the prodigious and gifted Ethan Nwaneri at Arsenal. At 17 he'll now be genuinely vying for a starting role with Gunners standouts when they return from injury. The King Power club are expected to potentially involve Jake Evans (16) in upcoming games. Furthermore Evans is compared to Nwaneri for various reasons.

Leicester City likely to include youngster in squad who's comparable to Ethan Nwaneri

Foxes of Leicester have written about Monga and Evans extensively. And it seems at least one of them will make their senior debut soon:

"Ruud van Nistelrooy said that Leicester City prospect Jake Evans would remain in contention for first-team involvement and the young forward is ensuring that the manager can't forget that vow....he [Evans] has six goals in his last four games and taken his tally for the season to nine goals in 11 appearances. He is now Premier League 2’s joint-leading scorer. At any age, his goal tally is impressive. At 16, it’s special. In the nine seasons since Premier League 2 was set up, the only other 16-year-old to score at least nine goals in a season is Ethan Nwaneri, who managed 11 last term....Van Nistelrooy's comment cannot be an empty platitude. He has to stick to his word and consider Evans, at least for a place on the bench. City are getting desperate and they can't overlook any potential solution."Jordan Blackwell
