Bilal El Khannouss is heading to Stuttgart this Monday, with the German side securing a loan deal that includes a mandatory purchase option estimated at around €25–30 million. The Morocco international, who came through the ranks at Genk and is under contract with Leicester, will undergo his medical before putting pen to paper.
El Khannouss has agreed to a four-year contract with Stuttgart. Leicester and the Bundesliga club have finalized a deal structured as a paid loan worth €5 million, with a compulsory €25 million purchase clause. This arrangement enables Leicester to free up funds to bolster their attacking options, particularly up front.
The English club, relegated to the Championship at the end of last season, had not planned to use the midfielder in the opening fixtures. Despite ongoing interest from Crystal Palace, the Foxes opted for a continental solution. Stuttgart, meanwhile, reignited their pursuit after selling Nick Woltemade to Newcastle for €90 million.
