Leeds United must pay £17m to land talented Bundesliga star

Leeds United are interested in signing Hoffenheim star Anton Stach this summer.
They must pay £17.25 million to secure a deal for the 26-year-old (Sunday Mirror).
Leeds have reportedly opened talks to sign the Germany international, but they are yet to make an official bid.
Stach joined Hoffenheim in 2023 after impressing with his performances at Greuther Furth and Mainz.
He has been a key member of the Bundesliga outfit’s team, making 10 goal contributions in 71 appearances across all competitions.
Stach mainly operates as a defensive midfielder but is also capable of playing in central midfield and defence.
With one year left on his contract, Hoffenheim are open to selling him this summer, but want £17.25m to sanction an exit.
Leeds are in the market for a new midfielder after Joe Rothwell returned to Bournemouth at the end of his loan deal.
They submitted multiple bids to sign Newcastle United’s Sean Longstaff, with the latest at £10m plus £2m in add-ons.
The Magpies rejected their offers, as they want a fee closer to £15m, despite huis deal expiring in 2026.
Leeds have also been linked with Juventus star David Luiz.
