Leeds will be keen to add Premier League experience to their squad this summer, and they have now been offered the chance to sign someone that fits this criteria like a glove.
Leeds may have won the Championship this season, but as has been proven by Leicester, that is no guarantee that they will be able to survive in the Premier League. As such, significant business will need to be done to ensure Daniel Farke’s squad is ready for their return to the top flight of English football.
One position that is likely to be addressed is striker, especially as Mateo Joseph could leave amid strong interest from La Liga. Leeds will be keen for someone to push Joel Piroe, and the perfect option could now have emerged.

As Graeme Bailey has told LeedsUnited.News, Leeds have been given the chance to throw their hat in the ring to sign Jamie Vardy when his Leicester contract expires.
“His people are doing an awful lot of work and Leeds are one of the clubs who have been contacted. But I come back to it, is he better than what you’ve got? He’s not. Don’t see it. He might want to play in the Premier League but I think he will end up in the Championship – I think he will end up back at Sheffield Wednesday.”
As far as a backup option goes, Vardy would be a perfect fit for Leeds. But while it would be unwise for the club not to at least make an attempt to sign a striker that has scored eight Premier League goals this season at the age of 38, they could face competition from the likes of Tottenham.
It remains to be seen where Vardy ends up this summer, but for now, Leeds looks to be an option – even if it is only an outside one.
