Fabrizio Romano reports Lecce’s asking price for Patrick Dorgu is €40m, but Manchester United haven’t yet made an official offer for the Denmark international.

Manchester United are preparing an opening offer for versatile Lecce winger Dorgu, who is valued at €40m by the Salentini.

Dorgu is seen as a potential replacement for Alejandro Garnacho at Old Trafford with Napoli in talks with the Argentinean winger.

Romano reports that Dorgu is keen to move to Old Trafford this month, although the Red Devils also monitor Milos Kerkez of Bournemouth and Nuno Mendes of PSG.

Dorgu had previously been linked with several European clubs, including Juventus, Napoli, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Dorgu, 20, has three goals and one assist in 22 appearances with Lecce this season.

He’s been covering different roles at the Via Del Mare, playing as a left-back and left winger.

Dorgu made his senior Denmark debut this past September and signed a contract extension until 2029 in October.
