Leaked images of 2025/26 Newcastle United away shirt prove spot on | OneFootball

Last month, there were claimed to be leaked images (see below) of the 2025/26 Newcastle United away shirt, that were circulating online.

Now on Tuesday morning (29 July 2025) there has been the official launch.

Both Adidas and the club revealing the new 2025/26 Newcastle United away Shirt.

It will go on sale to fans from Friday 1 August..

Those claimed leaked images of the 2025/26 Newcastle United away Shirt have proved to be spot on.

Official club announcement on new 2025/26 Newcastle United away shirt – 29 July 2025:

The Newcastle United 2025-26 away kit takes on a crisp green colourway and features graphics inspired by the iconic Tyne bridge.

The away kit is available from 1 August via Newcastle United stores and, selected adidas retail stores, and Newcastle United will wear the kit for the first time on their pre-season tour in South Korea

The kit features a bold green colourway, with white detailing and an all-over print on the jersey that pays homage to the arched-structure of the famous Tyne Bridge, one of Newcastle’s most famous landmarks. The shirt also has a v-neck collar with an ‘NUFC’ sign-off on the back, and is accompanied with white shorts featuring adidas’ iconic three stripes in green, and green socks that carry a Magpie icon.

The 2025/26 Newcastle United away kit will be available for purchase on Friday 1 August. Fans can shop online at , or visit official club stores at St. James’ Park, the Metro Centre, Fenwick Newcastle, as well as selected adidas retail locations.

To support the club’s ongoing community efforts, Newcastle United will donate £5 from every adult home, away, third, and goalkeeper shirt sold via the official club website or official NUFC stores before 31 August 2025 to the [object Object]. The initiative will help fund grassroots programmes and social impact projects across the North East.

Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes said: “Away games are always special because of the incredible support we get from our fans. No matter where we go, you can hear the noise and the singing. Seeing our fans proudly wearing their Newcastle shirts – it means so much to us players.

“I think this new away kit looks great – I love all of our kits for this season. I’m sure our fans will love them too, because they represent who we are and what it means to wear the Newcastle United badge.”

adidas, said: “While Newcastle United and their fans will wear this kit on the road, we wanted to make sure that a part of the city was travelling with them. We took the famous Tyne Bridge arch as inspiration and created the bold pattern to represent the iconic structure across the new shirt.”

The authentic player jersey features an engineered base fabric to allow players to achieve maximum performance. While the fan version has AEROREADY technology designed to keep supporters cool when on matchdays and beyond.

The 2025/26 away kit will make its debut on 30 July when Newcastle United take on Team K-League as part of the club’s pre-season tour in South Korea. The shirt will feature special name and number printing to celebrate the tour in Asia.’

Newcastle United fans looking forward to the release of the 2025/26 Newcastle United Away Shirt.

The club recently revealing (see below) that the official launch will be during the pre-season tour in Asia.

Newcastle United playing three friendlies in Singapore and South Korea, including games against Arsenal and Tottenham.

The 2025/26 Newcastle United home shirt went on sale in late May, this followed the players wearing it in the final match of the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Always difficult to know exactly whether ‘leaked’ images are on the money but with only weeks to go before it will go on  sale, there appears to be a lot of confidence online that this could indeed be the upcoming 2025/26 Newcastle United away shirt.

Newcastle United officials met the club appointed FAB (Fan Advisory Board) for their most recent meeting on 21 May 2025 and the minutes of that meeting were finally released this month.

Included in the minutes was an explanation/justification for the prices charged for the various replica kits, as well as this guidance on when the official launches of the other two 2025/26 kits will be; ‘Third kit to launch in early July and Away shirt launch planned to be on pre-season tour in Asia during July or August.’
