West Ham have appointed a Sports Psychologist who worked with Graham Potter previously.

Although there is frustration building amongst fans over the current lack of activity in the transfer market at present, the club continue to stress that patience is needed with confidence internally over a successful summer.

In a show of support for former Chelsea boss Potter, West Ham have brought in highly-rated James Bell to east London, with the remit being to improve the squads winning mentality and resilience.

Bell, who worked with Potter previously at Brighton, is understood to be a leading figure in his field, with the club eager to support the Hammers boss to give the best chances of success under his leadership.

Bell is also set to be joined by a new senior scout to work under Kyle Macaulay, who will specialise in the Italian market, including the selling of players.
