AC Milan have received another bid from Olympique Marseille for Ismael Bennacer in the past 20 minutes, and the Algerian is trying to see a bid through.
A move for Bennacer has come about rather quickly today, and Marseille are desperate to bring the Algerian to the club it seems, with Le Sport reporting that the French club have submitted a second bid.
The report states further that Bennacer is willing to make a ‘substantial financial effort’ to aid the chances of a deal, and is more desperate to move to France than he was in the summer, which is a shock considering how much Milan have believed in his return.
It is going to be a hard deal to finalise, as it relies on the Rossoneri making an addition to their own squad, however, the improved bid is making the French outfit hopeful it seems, with the report stating that the club ‘believe’ that it can be finalised tonight, with it likely to go to the wire.
Warren Bondo’s name has emerged for the Diavolo, and the club have posed the idea internally in the past hour about his arrival at the expense of Bennacer, but contact has yet to be made.
