Ciro Immobile could be back in Serie A in the summer, and his entourage has put out feelers in particular to Inter given their uncertainty up front and his connection with Simone Inzaghi. The two teamed up for a few years at Lazio, Fanatik reports (via Virgilio).

The striker is strongly considering leaving Besiktas at the end of the season. He’s butting heads with coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. In particular, he didn’t take well the fact that he was benched for the heated Derby with Galatasaray. It was just the third time it has happened in the season, though. He instructed his agent to find him a new team. He has totaled 15 goals and 3 goals in 33 appearances this campaign.

Immobile would be ready to embrace a secondary role at Inter given his age. The Nerazzurri will likely sign at least a new forward in the summer. Joaquin Correa is bound to leave, and they are evaluating Mehdi Taremi after an underwhelming year. Marko Arnautovic is on an expiring contract, but there’s a team option to extend it. He has shown well and scored at a decent rate lately. His departure is no longer so certain.

The 35-year-old is the most prolific scorer in the history of Lazio, having hit the net 207 times in his 8 years in the Italian capital.
