Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal this evening moved to reveal his appreciation for two of his most high-profile teammates.

As much, of course, comes fresh off Barca securing a return to winning ways.

Xavi’s troops welcomed Real Sociedad to Catalunya’s capital a short time ago, for the final fixture of the La Liga gameweek.

The Blaugrana headed into proceedings with sights on a bounce-back result, in the knowledge that a victory would see them leapfrog Girona into 2nd in the Spanish top-flight table.

And, when all was said and done at Montjuïc, this is precisely what the evening’s hosts managed.

After Lamine Yamal slotted home a confident finish late in the first-half, attacking partner-in-crime Raphinha wrapped up the three points deep into injury-time, from the penalty spot.

The former, post-match, was handed the official Man of the Match award, pulled in for an interview as a result.

And, whilst discussing his latest crucial contribution in front of goal, Lamine was keen to shift the credit away from himself, and instead towards the pairing of Robert Lewandowski, and İlkay Gündoğan.

“Robert’s pass in my goal was quality. Gündo then showed his best quality. All I had to do was tap it in,” the youngster concluded.
