La Gabarra iluminó a Bilbao y Athletic Club celebró la Copa del Rey como marca la historia

Athletic Club encendió a Bilbao con la obtención de la Copa del Rey y disfrutó el histórico festejo de La Gabarra, la celebración tradicional en un barco por Río Nervión junto a sus hinchas que pintaron la ciudad de blanco y rojo.

El plantel navegó en La Gabarra durante dos horas acompañado de más de cien embarcaciones y compartió grandes momentos de emoción con los fanáticos a la vera de la ría gritando y alentando por los jugadores que le dieron una alegría después de cuarenta años.

Al final del paseo en barco, los campeones les dirigieron al Ayuntamiento y se subieron al balcón gubernamental ante la multitud que llenó los alrededores de la casa de gobierno Bilbaíno. ¡Una verdadera fiesta!
