OGC Nice has expressed interest in Kojo Peprah Oppong, the young central defender from IFK Norrköping. The French club's interest has been confirmed both by the player himself and by the Swedish club's sporting director, Magni Fannberg.

At 21 years old, Kojo Peprah Oppong was signed in 2023 from the Attram de Visser Soccer Academy. After a quiet first season with just one Allsvenskan appearance, he was loaned to GIF Sundsvall, where he racked up valuable minutes in Superettan. This loan, extended through the end of 2024, proved crucial for his development.

Back with a vengeance this season, the Ghanaian has established himself as a starter at Norrköping, and his performances have caught the eye of several European clubs. So far, however, only OGC Nice has made a concrete offer. Speaking to NT-sporten, the player confirmed:

All I know is they've made an offer and the clubs are in talks. I think it would be a very good step for me.

Sporting director Magni Fannberg added:

Kojo has been very solid. Interest began as soon as he was loaned to Sundsvall, and it has only grown this spring and summer. We've had discussions with several clubs, and it looks like we're getting close to an offer that meets our expectations.

If negotiations are successful, Oppong could soon take a major step forward in his young career by joining Ligue 1 and the Aiglons.
