Sebastian Hoeneß will be without several players when his Stuttgart side play at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday afternoon as they lead their opponents by three points.
Speaking at Friday’s press conference, Hoeneß confirmed that Jacub Bruun Larsen, among others, will be sidelined. “We know about Daxo, ElBilal, Luca Raimund and Ameen AlDakhil. We have three players who are ill in Nick Woltemade, Josha Vagnoman and Jacob Bruun Larsen,” said VfB’s head coach, who added: “There’s also a question mark over Enzo Millot.”
He will however have January arrivals Luca Jaquez and Finn Jeltsch, who came in as a replacement for Anthony Rouault – who returned to France, joining Rennes in the winter transfer window. However, kicker suggest that Ramon Hendriks will start in central-defence alongside Jeff Chabot.
Games involving Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart always tend to be eye-opening, and a game that Hoeneß relishes. “The motivation is very high to deliver a really good away performance, even if it’s going to be a challenge.”
