Juventus youngster Samuel Mbangula has revealed that scoring for the club on his debut for the Bianconeri was a ‘special feeling’ and he had only dreamt of something like that.

Juve had fielded starting XI that included Mbangula and Kenan Yildiz, with Timohy Weah on the right and Dusan Vlahovic upfront. They did quite well, helping the side to a 3-0 win over newly promoted Como.

Juve impressed a lot, playing some freeflowing football that relied on pressing high up the pitch and transitioning quickly from the back.

After the game, young Mbangula spoke to DAZN after being elected as the Man of the Match and he said (via TMW): “A special feeling, because it was the first time in Serie A and the first goal arrived. I’m very happy, when I scored the first goal I thought it was a dream. When I hear the stadium with all the fans it’s an incredible feeling.”

The Belgian hadn’t played for the club’s first-team before today and had played regularly for the Next Gen side, impressing often. His start came as a surprise to many, but the 20-year-old didn’t disappoint.
