Juventus will be in the market for a new elite striker in the summer. Even though Dusan Vlahovic has resumed starting, there have been no advancements in his extension talks. The plan is to sell him in July after the Club World Cup, Calciomercato informs.
The Bianconeri dream of signing Victor Osimhen, but Napoli wants to send him abroad for a very hefty sum. It’ll be an uphill climb. The same goes for Benjamin Sesko. The Premier League powerhouses would be the frontrunners if he left RB Leipzig.
Juventus might wait in the wings to take advantage of some dominoes. For instance, if Manchester United added a new top-notch marksman, it’d be easier for them to lure either Joshua Zirkzee, although it’s less likely sans Thiago Motta, or Rasmus Hojlund.
Instead, the Serie A options on their radar are Lorenzo Lucca, Mateo Retegui, and Gianluca Scamacca. Atalanta might keep just one of their high-end center-forwards. The Old Lady might not stop at one signing after what happened with Arkadiusz Milik this season. They will also look for a reliable deputy. Tammy Abraham could be an option if he returned to Roma. They were interested in Luka Jovic in the past.
According to TuttoSport, the Bianconeri have reopened talks with PSG regarding Randal Kolo Muani. Their strategy is to extend his loan for another season, adding a practicable option to buy.
They should make a splash in this role, although their massive deals generally haven’t gone too well, but it’s too early to determine their firepower and allure. It’ll depend on whether they qualify for the Champions League or not.
