A five-star performance from Juventus as they thrash Al Ain 5-0 in Washington D.C.

The Italian giants are now top of Group G, level on points with Manchester City.

The speed of play has plummeted after Juve's fifth on the night, as both sides look keen on coasting through the final 15 minutes.

GOAL

Francisco Conceição has his second of the night as Juventus continue to cruise in Washington D.C.

Wydad have turned up the heat after the break, seeing a goal chalked off and another chance flash just high.

Though, it is much too little, too late.

It's now 4-0 as Kolo Muani gets his second of the night. Juventus will take a commanding lead into the half-time break.

GOAL

Juve are absolutely flying as Kenan Yıldız joins the goalscoring action!

FULL-TIME

The late goal was enough for RB Salzburg to claim all three points against Pachuca in Group H!

GOAL

Just like that, Juventus have doubled their lead! This time it was Francisco Conceição who has etched his name into the scoresheet.

🎥 Bullet header and superb improvisation in the air from the Frenchman!

GOAL

RB Salzburg have reclaimed the lead through second-half substitute Karim Onisiwo! That could be the winner in the late stages in Cincinnati.

GOAL

Just like that, Juventus snatch the lead through Randal Kolo Muani. It was a superb header to give Italian side the advantage in the opening 10 minutes.

Juve are on top of their opponents in the early stages, as they search for the opener in Washington D.C.

And we're underway in Group G!

GOAL

Pachuca have found the back of the night with a superb free-kick almost immediately after the weather delay! We've got a level game in Cincinnati.

Take a bow, Bryan González!

The players are back out, and we're set to get underway at TQL Stadium!

Some good news out of Cincy!

While we wait for the mid-afternoon match to resume, check out Juventus' starting XI for their Group G opener against Al Ain!

It doesn't look like slowing down anytime soon...

Not looking great...

⛈️ Unfortunately we have our second weather delay in this young tournament so far.

The referee has pulled the players off the pitch after lightning struck nearby.

In an alternate universe, Salomón Rondón has a hat-trick for Pachuca this evening.

The striker has had three glorious chances and spurned them all.

GOAL

After Pachuca created a few chances of their own, it is RB Salzburg who have broken the deadlock through Oscar Gloukh.

The young midfielder has had a handful of chances in this first half — the goal was coming. And what a strike it was!

RB Salzburg have slowly gained control in this game, and now they are the side pushing to find the opener.

Huge chance for Salomón Rondón but the Venezuelan sees his shot pushed wide of the post!

Pachuca are on top in the early going.

And we're underway between Mexico's Pachuca, and Austria's RB Salzburg!

FULL-TIME

But it's not to be for the Spanish giants as Al-Hilal hangs on for a massive point in a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid.

What a start to the summer campaign for Inzaghi's men, while Alonso will have work to do ahead of their next group clash against Pachuca.

One final corner for Real Madrid...

And that's headed over the bar by Tchouaméni

CHANCE!

García with a chance to nod home the winner from close range, but his effort could only be collected by Bounou. Less than two minutes remain. Real Madrid have a corner...

Five additional minutes remain after a full seven have been awarded by referee Facundo Raúl Tello Figueroa

SAVE!!!!!

Bounou makes a massive save as Valverde's tame effort was denied by the Moroccan shot-stopper!

AWARDED!!

Real Madrid have a gold chance to secure a late win after being gifted a penalty after Al Qahtani is judged to have fouled Muńoz in the penalty area!

A possible penalty in the final moments...we're going to VAR for review...

Another double change for Al-Hilal to see out the remaining minutes; Renan Lodi and Marcos Leonardo have been replaced by Moteb Al-Harbi and Musab Al-Juwayr.

Modrić has now come on for Jude Bellingham. Can the Croatian legend make the difference with less than ten minutes remaining?

Alonso makes the call to remove Vini Júnior for the final ten minutes, with Victor Muńoz replacing him. Luka Modrić is preparing to come on as well.

Another change by Inzaghi; Mohamed Kanno comes on to replace Nasser Al Dawsari

CHANCE!

Real Madrid are starting to knock on the door once again, with Fede Valverde left free and clear at the top of the box, but the effort from the Uruguayan could only be under-hit right at Bounou.

Alonso responds in kind with additional changes of his own;

Brahim Díaz and Lucas Vázquez on, Rodrygo and Trent Alexander-Arnold off.

Double change from Al-Hilal

João Cancelo and Malcolm have come off, replaced by Hamad Al Yami and Mohammed Al Qahtani

60 minutes in the books in Miami, with both sides still gunning for a second goal. Real Madrid are beginning to exert more control in possession, with Al-Hilal now forced to look to counter a bit more.

CHANCE!

Valverde unloads a trademark long-range hit from the left half of the pitch, but his thunderous drive could only sail wide without troubling Bounou.

Real Madrid are a side reborn to start the second half.

CHANCE!

What a start to the second half as Vinícius Júnior finds Güler in the area, with the Türkiye international rifling his first-time effort off the bar!

SUBSTITUTIONS - SECOND HALF UNDERWAY

A first change from Alonso sees Arda Güler brought on to replace Raul Asencio, with Los Blancos now going to his preferred back-three as the second half gets underway.

HALF-TIME

What an entertaining opening 45 minutes of football in South Florida as Al-Hilal impress against Xabi Alonso and Real Madrid, with Simone Inzaghi's outfit looking capable of running out winners come full-time.

CHANCE!

Veteran Saudi international winger Salem Al-Dawsari bends his effort just wide of Courtois' far post after a slight deflection! So nearly 2-1 as we press into stoppage time!

Five minutes of added time have been awarded. Is there another goal in this before the break?

It's no less than the Saudi club deserves on the day, who no doubt would have felt h hard done to go behind by a goal, but the Portuguese midfielder's calm nature from the penalty spot was justice done.

GOAL!!

Neves beats Courtois from the spot in emphatic fashion while sending the big Belgian the wrong way to level the score at one-all!

PENALTY!!

Al-Hilal have a glorious chance to level matters again after Raul Asencio brings down Leonardo in the box just minutes after García's opener.

GOAL!!!

And just like that, Real Madrid have opened the scoring in the 33rd minute despite the run of play telling a different story, with Madrid-born Gonzalo Garcia netting from close range on a day he replaces Kylian Mbappé while banking his first start for the club!

CHANCE!

One of the only opportunities Real Madrid have managed to muster in the opening half sees Rodrygo have a pop at goal from distance, but the star winger could only see his effort fly just over the bar.

Rúben Neves' delivery is headed wide by Hassan Al Tambakti.

Al-Hilal drives play forward once again, with a last-gasp tackle from Aurélien Tchouaméni denying a goalscoring chance.

Corner for the Saudi outfit...

OFFSIDE!

So nearly the match-opener thanks to a marauding run from left-back Renan Lodi, but the Brazilian was unable to remain onside in the build-up before sliding past Thibaut Courtois.

Warning shots fired!

Coming up on the 20-minute marker, Al-Hilal looks far more likely to find a breakthrough, with Real Madrid still settling under Xabi Alonso's guidance.

CHANCE!

Al-Hilal with a decent opportunity to take a 1-0 lead through Marcos Leondardo but the Brazilian could only see his snap-shot effort frustratingly sail wide from inside the box.

The Saudi outfit looks up for this today.

Early chances at both ends in the opening five minutes of action under the sweltering Miami sun. This may ultimately prove to be a highly entertaining fixture.

We're underway at Hard Rock Stadium, with Xabi Alonso looking for a first competitive win in charge of the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid and Al-Hilal players are walking out onto the Hard Rock pitch amid cheers from the supporters in the stands, including some iconic figures in the game.

Kick-off is just minutes away.

Real Madrid supporters should be out in force today in Miami, speaking to the club's massive global presence, including in the United States.

Al-Hilal's XI has also been announced for the afternoon clash in South Florida, and here is how the Saudi side will look.

Coming up in just under one hour is Xabi Alonso's managerial debut for Spanish giants Real Madrid as they clash with Al-Hilal at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Here is how the former Los Blancos midfielder will deploy his team.

FULL-TIME

Man City eases past Wydad in a comfortable 2-0 win to begin their Club World Cup campaign.

There's six minutes of added time here.

Even down to 10, City will see this out with ease.

RED CARD FOR CITY!

Rico Lewis is off but it's very unlucky for the City defender.

He slides in to make a fine tackle, but his follow through sees his boot fly into the face of Samuel Obeng.

City are closing out this game rather easily. There's less than five minutes left.

İlkay Gündoğan is now on too, with Guardiola rotating his squad.

The game appears done and it is very hot and humid out there, so it's a wise move from the City manager.

Haaland, Rodri and Oscar Bobb are all on.

It's the Ballon d'Or holder's second appearance since his return from a serious knee injury. What a sight for all City fans.

Here's City's second goal - it's a nice finish from the Belgian winger.

CLOSE!

Doku almost makes it three after Wydad give the ball away needlessly.

It would be a surprise if they don't get a few more here.

And we're back under way!

Long way back for Wydad, and Erling Haaland isn't even on yet.

HALF TIME!

City are in cruise control at the break.

It's a day for City forwards to break their duck.

First Foden ended his 20-game wait, and now Doku has ended his own drought, which was just one game fewer.

He hadn't scored since the 6-0 win at Ipswich in January.

GOAL! CITY MAKE IT TWO!

Foden should have scored the second, but he has ended up providing it.

His corner is poorly defended by Wydad, allowing Jérémy Doku to sneak in and put the ball in the net.

Just what Pep would have wanted before the break.

BIG MISS!

Foden should have a second, firing straight at Wydad keeper El Mehdi Benabid from all of eight yards out.

When City step it up, they look like scoring every time.

HUGE CHANCE FOR WYDAD!

They did get at the City defence, specifically Vitor Reis, who failed to deal with a through ball from Nordin Amrabat.

Cassius Mailula nipped in to take the ball, turned the defender before slipping just as he was about to pull the trigger.

A warning sign for Guardiola's side.

Wydad have settled reasonably well since that nightmare start.

They might fancy testing out this City defence.

CLOSE!

City almost make it two, with Omar Marmoush firing just wide from the edge of the box.

A tough task has become even tougher for the Moroccan side.

GOAL! CITY TAKE THE LEAD INSIDE TWO MINUTES

City are off to a flier, and it's Phil Foden with the goal.

Savinho drove into the box, and the ball rebounded to the midfielder to hook a nice finish home.

How he needed that - it's his first in 20 games for club and country.

KICK OFF!

And we're under way in Philadelphia.

We're 15 minutes away from kick off at Lincoln Financial Field Stadium.

With Cherki and Reijnders making their debuts, this could be a very exciting watch for City fans.

Manchester City start their campaign against Wydad AC, and this is how they line up.

Hello and welcome to our coverage of today's Club World Cup action.
