Despite somewhat of a sluggish start to the season, VfB Stuttgart centre-back Jeff Chabot’s estimated market worth has risen from €9m to €12m since he moved to Swabia from 1. FC Köln last summer. Sky Germany reports that the 26-year-old may be in line for a move away from the Bundesliga this summer.

Italian giants Juventus Turin apparently seek to bring the Hanau-native back to the Serie A. Chabot is no stranger to the league, having played for Sampdoria and Spezia between 2019 and 2021. The former German youth international spent two seasons in the cathedral city before Stuttgart paid €4m to sign him this past July.

Juventus apparently aim for a summer transfer after the season concludes. The German Pay-TV channel nevertheless notes that Stuttgart are not prepared to let their new regular go cheap. The Württembergers seek a fee in the €20m-€25m range.

Chabot remains one of VfB trainer Sebastian Hoeneß’ defensive pillars. He’s logged 2,033 minutes in 28 appearances across all competitions this season. His partnership with fellow central defender Anthony Rouault continues to steadily improve.
