Juventus are set to regroup at the end of July as preparations for the 2024-25 campaign ramp up, according to Bianconera News. With the Club World Cup experience now behind them, players will return to the Juventus Training Center in Turin for the traditional round of medicals at JMedical. Notably, this phase will also involve several players who remain under contract but have fallen out of the club's immediate plans, such as Arthur Melo.

The initial days in Turin serve as the platform for fitness assessments and the first tactical drills. Quickly, attention will turn to on-pitch conditioning, a priority as Juventus look to rebound in Serie A after a transitional season.

A key feature of this pre-season will be a training camp in Germany. From 2 to 9 August, Juventus will shift base to Herzogenaurach, headquarters of Adidas, leveraging modern facilities and milder summer temperatures. This marks a return to a locale that served the squad well last year. The camp will feature double training sessions and targeted team-building activities, with club staff planning at least one friendly against a local side to cap off the week.

The main event of the summer schedule arrives immediately after. On 10 August, Juventus will face Borussia Dortmund in their stadium for what promises to be a searching early examination against significant opposition. The day will also showcase the women’s teams of both clubs in a preceding match, underlining a broader club vision for both the men’s and women’s projects.

Upon returning to Turin, Juventus will continue their pre-season with a familiar internal contest. The squad will play Juventus Next Gen at the Allianz Stadium, a fixture serving a dual function: sharpening tactical details and offering supporters one last glimpse before the new campaign begins.

Juventus open their Serie A season on 24 August, away to Parma—a match club insiders expect to serve as an early barometer of their competitiveness following a summer marked by managerial change and transfer activity. New signings and returning players will have only a handful of competitive minutes together prior to that challenging opener.

This pre-season takes place in the context of significant changes at the club. Juventus recently finalized the signing of Jonathan David, and there are ongoing moves in the market, reflecting a broader push for a squad refresh under the new leadership structure and technical staff. The evolving plans and personnel moves are likely to remain under close scrutiny as the club chases a return to the top end of Italian football.
